Thoughts on the Christ the King Celebration
The Cristo Rey celebration was attended not only by students of the different catholic schools of the Diocese of Laoag but by hundreds of devotees and faithful coming from the different parishes. The parish of St. John Bosco in Baresbes, Dingras showed to the pilgrims their hospitality and their greatness of character by preparing well the three barangays comprising the parish. The people of the church help each other so that the celebration is to be done successfully. The many devotees appreciated the preparations made by the people—a showcase of unity and cooperation in faith.
Those who walked the roads for the procession remember that we are a community on a pilgrimage to the Father and we proclaim Jesus as our King. Thus, as subjects to His Kingdom, we ought to live and work for peace, justice, honesty and love so that people on earth may live “as it is in heaven!”

The School Logo
CHRIST is the reason and the center of Catholic education and evangelization. That is why the “Chiro” monogram of Jesus Christ is found at the center and upper most part of the coat of arms. The uppermost section of the logo is also dominated by a “book” which symbolizes the HOLY BIBLE. The writings on it read this way “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life!” It is the source of evangelization and catechesis which is the primary reason of catholic education. On the right side is the EUCHARIST, the “source and summit of Christian life and worship.” At the center is a picture of Saint Anne as she is enshrined in the main altar of the Catholic Church of Piddig.
